Easter Egg Hunts Across the North Raleigh, Wake Forest and Wake County Community

With March 20th marking the official first day of Spring 2017 the Easter Bunny and his colorful eggs are not far behind. If you haven’t made it to an Easter Egg hunt yet, there is still a little time. This year Easter is on April 16th. There’s still plenty of time to take the kids to egg hunts around the North Raleigh and Wake Forest community. This year you can find egg hunts at the following locations:

April 6th

Apex - Flashlight Egg Hunt. Ages 6 and older for those with disabilities. Register at apexnc.org

April 8th

Cary -  8:30am. Continental breakfast at Cary Senior Center with the Easter Bunny followed by an egg hunt at Bond Park at 10am for 10 and under. There will be food trucks, face painting, and bounce houses from 10 am - 1:30pm. With a magic show at the Sertoma Amphitheater. Tickets required for the breakfast portion only.

Chapel Hill – 10am – 1pm. Peter Cottontail at Southern Community Park’s Spring Festival.

Fuquay Varina – 10am. 10 and younger at South Park. This hunt boasts over 12,000 candy filled eggs.

Holly Springs – 10am – Noon. Spring Fling Sugg Farm at Bass Lake.

Knightdale – 11am. Easter Eggstraordinaire ages 8 and younger.

Morrisville – 10am. Morrisville Community Park Springtime event ages 2-8.

Raleigh – 11am. Raleigh Laurel Hills Community Center 10 and younger.

Rolesville – 10am. Rolesville Middle schools 10 and younger.

Selma - 11am. The Great Egg Scramble ages 3-10.

Wake Forest - 10-11am. Four separate hunts.

April 9th

Smithfield - Smithfield Community Park ages 2-7 Prizes for the top egg collectors

April 13th

Clayton – 10am. Clayton Community Center ages 5 and younger.

April 14th

Clayton – 10:30am. Clayton Community Park 5 and younger. You can catch the Easter Bunny riding the Clayton fire engine prior to the hunt.

If you’re looking to travel for an egg hunt here are some iconic locations across the state:

April 14th

Wilmington – 10am – 2pm. Battleship NC

April 15th

Benson – Smith’s Nursery 10 and younger. Non-perishable items to the West Johnston High School is appreciated as admission.

Winston-Salem – 9:30am – 4:30pm. Easter Festival Old Salem’s Historic District.

April 16th

Asheville – Biltmore House Ages 10 – 16.
